Conbrada Construction Ltd. Challenges Local Businesses
This idea came to be as a result of the article published in the Orillia Packet & Times last week speaking to the need for "cash" to supplement food donations in order that "The Sharing Place" can have the necessary funds to purchase food goods in bulk and at better prices. The article also expressed the need for a more modern and larger location to better serve the needs of our community.
This is a "Business Community Challenge" to all our local businesses especially to the general contracting, building trades, and local building supply industries.
The idea is for everyone to pitch in and raise as much money as possible in the next 30 days and to see how many other businesses will match or exceed our $1500.00 contribution.
Any dollar amounts would be gratefully appreciated. Every dollar counts.
Please send contributions to the attention of Shawna Ballik, Operations Manager at The Sharing Place Food Bank, 22 West Street S., P.O. Box 743, Orillia, ON L3V 6K7 and she will keep track of all contributions associated with this community challenge. Shawna can be reached at (705) 327-4273 or you can email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cheques should be made to "The Sharing Place" and please identify them as being attributed to the "Business Community Challenge".
At the end of the campaign, Shawna will generate a list of all the donors and they will be acknowledged in the Packet & Times along with an idea of how far the contributions went in terms of purchasing food hamper baskets etc. The need for funds to purchase food supplies in our community is great so please give generously and remember that no contribution is too small.
Thank you to the Packet & Times for your participation in this campaign.
