Description
The Orillia and Lake Country Economic Summit is a chance for business leaders to weigh in on issues impacting the Orillia, Ramara, Oro-Medonte, Severn, and Rama area.
Local municipal candidates are invited to attend to hear directly from the business community and learn about their perspective on municipal issues. There will also be a networking period where business representatives will have a chance to meet their municipal candidates.
While historically the Chamber has held All Candidates Debates ahead of municipal elections, this event provides a much different opportunity for municipal candidates to engage with the business community. Candidates are invited to listen and learn about the concerns of local business leaders, and will have a chance to discuss and respond to questions on an informal, one-on-one basis during the networking period.
