Description
Green Haven Shelter for Women is hosting Take Back the Night on May 1st, and we need YOU to join us. 
This march is all about raising our voices against gender-based violence, including sexual assault and intimate partner violence. It’s time to shine a light on this issue and show survivors that they are not alone.
Take Back the Night is about reclaiming our voices, our streets, and our right to safety. We march for survivors, we march for justice, and we march to say no more to violence.
When? Wednesday, May 1st | 6:00–7:30 PM
Where? Orillia Public Library (Start point)Intimate partner violence has reached epidemic levels in our community, and too many women and gender-diverse individuals are suffering in silence. It's time we say no more.
Bring your friends, bring your signs and walk with us in solidarity. Together, we’ll take each step toward a safer, more compassionate world where every woman has the right to feel safe.
