St. Paul's Centre/United Church
We are a welcoming space for performing arts, community groups, business meetings and celebrations as well as a centre for worship and spiritual growth. Our governing values include generosity and justice, inclusiveness and open mindedness, compassion, trust and a commitment to spiritual growth and dialogue. We are an affirming congregation of the United Church of Canada. We see ourselves extending our over 186-year history in Orillia as a place to gather, a place to grow, a place to express our deepest hopes and fears, a place to talk, share and celebrate together. We have a variety of rooms to rent for meetings or gatherings, as well as a commercial kitchen and attached banquet hall, and a large 400 seat performing arts space with state of the art sound and lighting. We are home to the Mariposa Grandmothers, Orillia Community Kitchen, St. Paul's Centre Sharing Garden, the Old Dance Hall Players, Shout Sisters Orillia, the Orillia Music Centre, Orillia Vocal Ensemble, Third Age Learning Orillia and many other groups and events throughout the year use our spaces for rehearsals, meetings, and performances.
