Ontario Chamber of Commerce Presents:...Description
Join the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) on February 11 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm for a discussion on the opportunities and challenges ahead for Canada-US relations. Click here to register.
Canada and the United States share an extensive history of cooperation, interdependent trade and supply chains, and the longest international border in the world. The inauguration of President Joe Biden on January 20th signals a new era for Canada-US relations. What will this mean for infrastructure, trade, labour, and environmental policy?
With two-way trade between Ontario and the US totalling CAD$390 billion in 2018, the relationship between Canada and the US is particularly important for Ontario. The province of Ontario is the number one trading partner with 19 states and the second largest trading partner with nine others.
We'll be joined for a panel discussion with experts from both sides of the border:- Earl Provost - Ontario Agent General in Chicago, Government of Ontario
- Maryscott Greenwood - Partner and Managing Director of US, Crestview Strategy
- Jim Holcomb - Executive Vice President & General Counsel, Michigan Chamber of Commerce
- Moderated by: Rocco Rossi - President & CEO, Ontario Chamber of Commerce
