An exhibition celebrating 150 years for Orillia & Canada! Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town illustrates that Mariposa can be any small town in Canada, universal yet incomparably local. As landscape, people & stories grow, identity & sense of place grow. Stephen Leacock, Gordon Lightfoot, Elizabeth Wyn Wood & Arthur Shilling told their stories through different mediums, making art for all time. The night Ethel Merman died, theatre producers on The Great White Way turned their marquee lights off for an hour, in tribute to the lady who, for many years, was Broadway. But a little set-back like death didn't stop Ethel Merman! From when she passes to when the lights come back on, Ethel Merman, aided by her nurse & physician, tells the remarkable story of her climb to fame & title of the greatest of Broadway's broads! Summer camps have a long history in Ontario, especially on Lake Couchiching. Notably, YMCA Geneva Park, Camp Couchiching & Camp Wahanowin have developed & shared the benefits of sport & culture amongst nature, providing transformative experiences to hundreds of campers each year since the early 20th century. Formed in 2008 in Victoria, British Columbia, PIGS have spent nine years perfecting their craft in front of sold out audiences throughout Western Canada. On their Left + Right East Coast Tour of 2017, PIGS are bringing an epic and rare treat for Pink Floyd fans out East: the band will be crossing the country to perform selections from the entire Floyd catalog. Hundreds of children, led by the Town Crier, carry electric candles & carol through downtown to turn on the giant Opera House Christmas tree & light the way for Santa! One of the largest Christmas parades North of Toronto! - AUSTRALIA'S THUNDER FROM DOWN UNDER
This sizzling male revue named "Best Male Strip Show" by the Las Vegas Review Journal for 3 consecutive years and "Best Adult Attraction"by AOL's City Guide. The internationally acclaimed show has appeared on teh famed Las Vegas Strip for the past 16 years, takes male revues to the new level of excitement and is "eye candy" for women of all ages who can transform fantasy into reality with the blink of an eye or unbuttoning of a shirt!
