About Us

Lowry Building Company specializes in high performance energy efficient buildings and prefabrication. We provide turnkey services from pre-construction through to occupancy as well as prefabricated building shells that are fully insulated, air-tight, and ready for exterior and interior finishes.

Our goal is to deliver dramatically higher performing buildings through the use of innovative materials, fabrication and manufacturing methods. We are inspired by the passive house standard and the building science that it is founded on. We are also inspired by our experience building straw bale homes and using locally sourced and environmentally responsible materials. Over the years, we have been involved with the design and construction of straw bale homes, LEED Platinum condominiums, heritage office conversions, and renewable energy projects. All of this experience, and all of the guiding principles and goals that accompany them, have culminated in the founding of Lowry Building Company.

We are Tarion Registered and based out of Orillia, Ontario, Canada.
